Links are how you vote on your own site
Search engines use internal links to discover pages and to guess which ones matter. Users use them to finish a thought. If every page links to “Contact” and nothing else, you have a brochure, not a system.
Give each URL one job
Northline’s cluster is small on purpose. The SaaS page is for software companies. The professional services page is for firms that sell expertise. The journal explains the craft. Offers name the commercial packages. When a paragraph on this site mentions a related job, it links to that URL with descriptive text — not “click here.”
A simple rule you can keep
When you add a third offer later, do not clone the first two pages. If you cannot describe the difference in one sentence, you do not have a new page. You have duplicate content with a new H1.
- Every new article links to at least one service or offer page
- Every service page links to two articles that prove the method
- No article should be reachable only from the journal index
- If two pages could swap titles and still make sense, merge them
