Search Console indexation checklist for a new B2B site

A new domain is not ignored because of a mystery penalty. It is usually unpublished, unlinked, or blocked. This is the order of operations.

Indexation is a queue, not a favor

Google discovers URLs from sitemaps and links, then decides whether a URL is worth storing. A brand-new site with five useful pages and clean technical signals is easier to understand than a site with 400 thin posts.

Do these in order

If Search Console says “Crawled — currently not indexed,” the page was seen and skipped. Typical causes: thin overlap with another URL, no incoming links, or a template that looks like a duplicate. Fix the page’s unique job, then give it a link from a stronger URL.

  • Ship on a real HTTPS hostname. Localhost does not rank.
  • Verify the property in Search Console (domain property if you can).
  • Submit sitemap.xml and confirm it is listed in robots.txt.
  • Request indexing on the homepage, then on each money URL — sparingly.
  • Link the important URLs from the homepage and from each other.
  • Wait. Recrawl takes days to weeks. Do not rewrite titles every morning.

What this checklist will not do

It will not place you in the top three for “SEO agency” next month. Competitive head terms need time, mentions, and a site that keeps earning clicks. The checklist only removes self-inflicted blocks so the pages you already wrote can compete.
